Introduction

Handy Set Go ("Handy," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our cloud-based field service management platform, including its AI-powered features.

By using Handy, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

a) Account Information

When you sign up, we collect:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Company name, industry, and team size
  • Google account information (via OAuth sign-in)

b) Business & Customer Data

As you use the platform, you may upload or create:

  • Customer names, addresses, and contact details
  • Job records, reports, notes, and completion photos
  • Quotes, invoices, and service request documents
  • PDF attachments and other uploaded files

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from your customers before uploading their data.

c) AI Interaction Data

When you use AI features (e.g., Handy Agent, Quote Assistant), we may process:

  • Prompts and messages you submit
  • AI-generated outputs and conversation logs

AI interactions may be used to improve the quality of our services. We use third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) that process prompts under their own privacy policies.

d) Payment Information

Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your full payment credentials (card numbers, CVV). Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

e) Technical Data

  • IP address and general location
  • Browser type and device information
  • Usage logs and session data for security and analytics

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and operate the Handy platform and its features
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Enable AI-powered features and improve their accuracy
  • Send transactional emails (welcome, job notifications, invoices)
  • Maintain platform security and prevent fraud
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Analyze aggregate usage to improve the product (anonymized data only)

We do not use your data for targeted advertising and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data Sharing

We may share your data with:

Service Providers

Google Cloud Platform (hosting), Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), Anthropic/OpenAI (AI processing)

Legal Authorities

When required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — you will be notified in advance

All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, including Firebase (Firestore, Storage, and Authentication). We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
  • Role-based access controls limiting who can access your data
  • Firestore security rules enforced at the database level
  • Daily automated backups of production data

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to maintaining strong protections.

Data Retention

  • Your data is retained while your account is active
  • Upon account termination, data is retained for 60 days to allow for export requests
  • After 60 days, data is permanently deleted from our systems
  • Backup copies may persist for an additional 30 days before being overwritten
  • Data required for legal or tax compliance may be retained longer as required by law

Request deletion of your account and associated data

AI Features & Outputs

Handy uses AI models provided by third parties (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) to power features such as the Handy Agent, Quote Assistant, and automated job summaries.

  • AI outputs are advisory and may contain inaccuracies
  • Users are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before relying on it
  • We do not use your customer data to train third-party AI models without consent

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Authentication (keeping you logged in)
  • Session management
  • Basic analytics to understand platform usage

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email and/or an in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
